Musician, educator, community builder
WHO'S THAT GIRL?
Hi! I'm Stéphanie.
Being a musician today is a mosaic of jobs and titles. I'm a professional flutist, performer, music educator, clinician, faculty member with the Royal Conservatory of Music College of Examiners, consultant, and adjudicator
living and working in the Greater Toronto Area. From beginners who have never seen a flute to University students looking to finesse their skill, I teach them all. I have performed with orchestras across the GTA and I continue to develop interactive performances for audiences of all ages.
I'm also a new-ish mom, coffee lover, and Farmers' Market enthusiast.
TEACHING
A teacher who
inspires learning
I've been making music across Canada for decades! From the prairies where I got my first taste of teaching to the east coast where I found my true calling and inspiration as a music educator. I love teaching young children and the young at heart.
A flutist with
stage presence
I've been a performer since I could hold a microphone and sing the theme song to "Jem" on our fireplace hearth. Fast-forward a few decades: I've honed my skills, worked in a variety of settings, and have hundreds of performances under my belt.
PERFORMING
Stéphanie is a brilliant performer and teacher providing quality instruction to flutists of all levels in the Regional Arts Program. It is refreshing to see a teacher who sincerely cares about the success of her students, and goes the extra mile to ensure their development and personal growth as musicians...
